I had a very bad relationship with food. I was depleting myself of food to stay slim so I felt very tired and slow. I had barely any energy to workout. Emotionally, I was a wreck. I had a terrible relationship with my mother, I had no routine, I felt lost. I was constantly anxious. My main improvements I made were setting a morning and night routine, meditative nature walks, listening to my body when I am hungry, being honest with my coaches and asking for help when I need it, setting a workout goal that motivates me to move daily.

My relationship with food before I started the program wasn’t a healthy one. I had a lot of cravings and didn’t have the tools to work through them. I would restrict, binge, repeat. I was very low energy and digestive issues. I have more energy than I have in years, and I the mental clarity has helped me manage my emotions in a much healthier way. IHM really gave me a step by step in what to do to hold myself accountable for long term goals. It started small and realistic, which was different than my “jump-all-in-and-get-overwhelmed” approach before.
